Two of Melbourne’s most popular and longest-running markets – The Rose St. Artists’ Market and Melbourne Farmers Markets – will combine to provide one of the best market shopping experiences this Christmas.

To be held on Sunday, December 4, at The Greenery Garden & Home in Heidelberg, the event aims to give shoppers an extra opportunity to buy unique gifts and local, fresh produce for their Christmas 2022 celebrations, and all under the one roof!

The Rose St. Artists’ Market (rosestmarket.com.au) enables shoppers to buy direct from Melbourne’s best artists, designers, crafters and makers, ensuring each Christmas gift bought will be an original art and design. The event will be the perfect opportunity to purchase jewellery, homewares, clothing or artwork, particularly for those hard-to-buy-for family and friends.

Melbourne Farmers Markets (mfm.com.au) connects shoppers direct with food producers, providing an avenue to purchase seasonal produce and enjoy the very best of Victorian agriculture. Shoppers can purchase delectable treats or fresh food staples for festive gatherings in the lead up to Christmas as well as the big day itself.

The Market at The Greenery will be held between 9am and 2pm on Sunday, December 4, in the Event Tent at The Greenery Garden & Home, 4 Banksia Street, Heidelberg.

The Greenery Garden & Home director Karen Conrad says:

“The collaboration between The Rose St. Artists’ Market and Melbourne Farmers Markets at The Greenery Garden & Home will create one of Melbourne’s largest Christmas markets this festive season.

“It is the first time we will be collaborating together and we are excited to provide this complete shopping experience and make the festive season a little easier for shoppers this Christmas.”

Founder and Director of Melbourne Farmers Markets Miranda Sharp says:
“We are delighted to collaborate with Rose St Artist Market and The Greenery Garden & Home this Christmas. More and more Melbournians are shopping locally and want to know who grew their food, made their clothes and buy their gifts, so this market provides a great opportunity to meet the people behind the products and support a local economy.”

The Greenery Garden & Home is a second-generation family business.

Under new leadership, it is creating a different type of retail experience, embracing garden and home with an emphasis on food and pets.
