Jennifer Pierre of Kandee Gems Boutique Energises Souls

CrowdInk had the opportunity to sit down with Jennifer Pierre, designer and owner of Kandee Gems Boutique. She talks about what makes her brand so unique, the importance of staying connected to your soul’s aura, and her inspirations for this indie bohemian brand with a modern twist.

CrowdInk: Tell us about Kandee Gems Boutique? 

Jennifer Pierre: Derived from the sun-soaked “Jennifer Pierre Signature Collection Days”, designer/owner, Jennifer Pierre is the creative mind behind Kandee Gems. The first ready-to-wear collection was designed in her hometown of New York, and has since evolved into a true lifestyle brand with the additions of her lingerie and stone collections. With a unique eye for design, Kandee Gems has created styles that are recognized instantly. They are consistently raising the bar with custom-made lace, stone, and textile placement embroidery. Kandee Gems designs stand out in the crowd.

CI: How did you get started?

JP: I got started one day just thinking to myself, “I want to make things that fit women right. I want to make them feel good inside as well as on the outside.” I wanted to start small, having limited pieces in each product, so it wouldn’t feel like everyone has the same thing.  

CI: What’s your inspiration? 

JP: My inspiration is when I travel or see colors or tiles. I love the indie bohemian look, but we add a modern twist to it.

CI: What makes your brand unique? 

JP: I always try to think out of the box and simply. Designing things that stand out from the crowd and let you be more connected to the universe is my passion. Kandee Gems give your soul energy.

CI: What’s your number 1 tip for aspiring entrepreneurs?

JP: Never give up!!

CI: How do you like to spend your spare time?

JP: I like to spend my spare time with family and friends. Or just being by myself at the beach rejuvenating and getting inspiration from the universe.

CI: What’s your favourite fashion accessory? 

JP: My favorite fashion accessory is my sterling silver hamsa necklace. It’s my connection to my soul’s aura.
