Miranda Kerr finally opened about the custom made dress she wore during her marriage to Snapchat founder, Evan Spiegel.
The outfit reflected a change in Kerr’s lifestyle. She used to be “wild, free, bohemian.” At the present though, her style is more restrained. Her inspirations have been timeless icons such as Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn. Her grandmother’s fashion sense played a role in her choice. She praised her grandmother’s style at the age of 80, stating that she elegantly pulled off a pant, blouse, scarf and a small heel.
The supermodel is consistently described by many publications as “regal”. I feel that she came across as polished and demure.
Last July, Maria Grazia Churi, became the artistic director of Dior – Kerr’s bingo moment! Though the pair never met, Kerr instantly considered this her chance to live a fantasy moment “I think it’s every girl’s dream to have Dior design her wedding dress,” Kerr says. “I thought, if she’s up for it, I’m up for it.”
Similarly, the dress’ designer, Maria Grazia Chiuri, declared that the dress managed to be simultaneously emotional and simple.
Kerr continued “Honestly, I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful wedding dress”.
