Bringing the best of the Kimberley region to Hobart is Art Mob’s latest exhibition, Kimberley Collectables. Opening on March 16th, Kimberley Collectable highlights some of the best works ever created by artists of the region. Displaying a range of prints, paintings, and drawings, this is one of Art Mob’s most exciting exhibitions yet.
What makes this exhibition such a delight is not only the diversity of style, but also the range of incredible artist whose work will be on display as part of the exhibition.
With work from Patsy Anguburra Lulpunda that was painted when she was 102 and historical work from Jack Dale, it’s rare to find an exhibition of such quality and value.
The work exhibited brings the history and people of the Kimberley region to the walls of Art Mob’s gallery in a delight of colour, texture, and vibrancy.
With stories behind every piece of work, there is plenty to see and explore in this exhibition, and always one more layer to uncover in the art that will be on display.
This is an exhibition which tracks the history of art in the Kimberley through ochre, a visual history of the area and its people.
Kimberley Collectables opens at Art Mob at 6PM on March 16th and is certainly an unmissable assortment of art. Artworks will be available for purchase at the exhibition and are also for sale through Art Mob’s website.
