Growing up can be tough, both for parents and kids, but this ingenious YouTube channel is making that a little easier. Storybooth encourages children and young adults to share, in their own words, their coming of age experiences. Kids from all over the world submit their funny, enlightening and emotional stories in audio file form, and the Storybooth team produce a quirky animation that underlines what the words cannot.

The videos explore everything from light-hearted dance battles and embarrassing swimsuit mishaps, to more complex topics like diabetes and suicide. Storybooth offers children both a sympathetic perspective and a sense of reassurance. The comment section opens up a dialogue amongst the youngsters, with an anonymity that allows them to discuss sensitive topics without fear or embarrassment.

The channel currently has more than 300,000 subscribers and with constant collaborations from fellow YouTubers like Melanie Murphy and Guava Juice, it doesn’t appear to be slowing down any time soon!
