Harry Potter fans around the world will all be celebrating big time, with the series’ writer, J.K. Rowling, announcing that she will be releasing not one, but two new books in October. As if the last decade hasn’t been busy enough, Rowling is continuing the magic of Harry Potter by releasing two more books to give us even more information about the world she created. The first is Harry Potter: A History of Magic, giving us a look inside the history of the subjects students study at Hogwarts and more. The second book is Harry Potter: A Journey Through the History of Magic, which is loaded with unseen sketches and manuscripts from Rowling herself.
Both books are due to be released on October 20, in conjunction with a Harry Potter exhibit about the history of magic, to be put on sho at the British Library.
