Tom Mitchell Wins 2018 Brownlow Medal

Mitchell was a favourite in the lead up to this years Brownlow medal, but he still admitted uncertainty up until the final minutes of the ceremony. It was a well-deserved win from the Hawks star, who has a career-defining season. After joining the Hawks two years ago, Mitchell has realised his full potential under the guidance of Clarkson.

The ladies also pulled-out exciting performances during the ceremony. A heavily pregnant Nadia Bartel wowed in a crisp white J’Aton gown as she hosted the red carpet. Logan Shine wore a dress that had chins wagging with an extremely long train. She certainly made a statement!

The night is known for it’s over the top, and some might say tacky, style. So it is important to note the understated elegance of Jesinta Franklin’s gown, which proved that you don’t need a million sequins or feathers to make a statement.
