Say Hello… and Then a Quick Goodbye

As if she didn’t make us cry enough with her voice and often sorrowful songs, Adele has recently announced she may never tour again.

The 28-year-old British singer, who recently finished the Australian/New Zealand leg of her Adele 2017 tour, revealed this bombshell to her 40,000 strong Auckland, New Zealand audience, saying, “Touring isn’t something I’m good at—applause makes me feel a bit vulnerable. I don’t know if I will ever tour again. The only reason I’ve toured is you”.

At the end of the Auckland concert, which experienced some rain during the 90-120 minute show (proving she can make the heavens cry too), she also said this tour was “my greatest accomplishment in my career”.

While it is hard to imagine that we may never see her tour again, it may not be a complete surprise either considering she once told Q Magazine she experiences stage fright, “I have anxiety attacks, constant panicking on stage. My heart feels like it’s going to explode because I never feel like I’m going to deliver, ever”.

But whether or not this is her last tour, Adele will always make us feel every emotion under sun with her music, current and future.
