Top 3 Netflix Shows to Binge This Winter

With the cold months coming up, nothing beats a night in snuggled up in blankets, eating comfort food and watching Netflix for hours on end. With a big catalogue of shows to choose from, you’ll probably spend a good amount of time trying to find the perfect show to watch.  To beat this, we’ve listed the top 3 shows streaming on Netflix now!

1. Shadow and Bone – Based on the fantasy novel series, Shadow and Bone follows the story of Alina Starkov, a mapmaker who discovers that she has powers that could change the fate of the world around her that has been subject to war for years. With her powers also being discovered by others, she finds that there are dangerous forces and beings out to get her, and she must learn how to control her powers in order to survive. (Starring Jessie Mei Li, Ben Barnes, Archie Renaux)

2. The Serpent – A miniseries based on the serial killer Charles Sobhraj and his crimes from 1975 to 2000. The series revolves around a Dutch diplomat who worked to find Sobhraj and bring him to justice. The series shows a young Sobhraj and his girlfriend Marie Andrée-Leclerc in disguise as a married couple in Bangkok who deal in gems while also offering housing to backpackers and who would eventually become their victims. Full of crime, suspense and thrills, The Serpent is definitely one to watch (at your own discretion of course). (Starring Tahar Rahim, Jenna Coleman, Billy Howle).

3. Jupiter’s Legacy – Jupiter’s Legacy follows the story of the first generation of superheroes on Earth who first received their powers in the 1930s. For decades, these superheroes have defended mankind and it is up to the next generation of superheroes to continue that tradition and follow in the footsteps of their parents and ancestors. This becomes harder than it looks due to constantly in the public eye and living up to everyone’s expectations. Full of action and adventure! (Starring Josh Duhamel, Leslie Bibb, Ben Daniels).
