“It’s like a full-on assembly line”, said the US music producer
We all know parenting can be a tough and can be one of the most underappreciated jobs out there, regardless of having one child, two, three, and let’s not even get started on twins and other multiple sets of children!
Or perhaps we should?
In a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, US music producer, singer, and songwriter, Pharrell Williams, who recently had triplets with his wife Helen Lasichanh, confessed that life with triplets is “no joke” and that “it’s like a full-on assembly line”.
And after making his confession, he then mimicked what it’s like to feed and change diapers for three babies at the same time and also joked that his new additions like to harmonize when they cry, saying “chain reaction is a real thing” when at home.
But as humorous and truthful as his comments may be— and I doubt you need to be a parent to know that— he then took a turn for the serious, as he spoke about his admiration for his wife carrying his children and further praised other women for the same, and many other, acts they perform and ‘burdens they carry’.
“I cannot say enough about women and all kinds of burdens that they carry and the gifts that they carry”, he told Jimmy Fallon, “My wife is everything”.
