Sonya and Sacha have come a long way from their humble beginnings as a club doorbitch and an eighteen year-old entrepreneur, respectively. They have created a brand for themselves by helping teens and parents across Australia. Their differing backgrounds provide them with front hand knowledge on building a career and making difficult choices from a young age. They have dedicated their life to helping teenagers and presenting to parents. Each speaking at than 100 schools per year on the real issues teenagers face everyday.

The dynamic duo has recently released two podcasts: one for parents and one for teenagers. The podcasts mirror each other, with the same topics discussed in either series, but directed at their separate audiences.

Sex, Drugs and Relationships is for teenagers; it’s an avenue to listen to professionals about issues that could be affecting them.

The podcast aimed at parents, Secret Life of Teenagers is all about creating open lines of communications and giving parents strategies on how best to broach certain subjects with their teen.

“I wasn’t given much advice when I was a teenager, I was quite lost and I made poor decisions, I didn’t reach out.” Says Sacha.

Her need for information and support as a teen gave her drive to create the supportive empire her and Sonya have worked so hard for. Sacha’s advice for teens like her is self-awareness!

Sacha says the key to self-awareness is to ask yourself the hard-hitting questions and to notice your own reactions.

“Get young people to ask themselves the questions, don’t give them the answer, you spend a whole lot of time with yourself, you may as well be your own best friend and get to know you.”

Sacha is a self-proclaimed workaholic, which she says is strength for her career but a weakness to her work life balance pattern. She spoke to me animatedly, wholeheartedly welcoming my conversation…while I was on her car’s loudspeaker- Sacha never stops. Yet her number one priority is always her children.

A second season of “The Door Bitch and The Entrepreneur” is in production, with the ladies having visited New York City for interviews and insight. They met with Gary Vaynerchuk, a worldwide success and serial entrepreneur who spoke to them on how to raise good kids who make good choices. No doubt their second instalment of podcasts will be even more engaging and educational.
