Wong Entertainment Studios’ established by Michelle Wong, is built on the primary focus to create a platform for the Asian Community, not only to create content but also opens their doors to the multicultural community of other creators to film at their studio.

What’s the Inspiration Behind Your Business?

We were inspired by the impact in our community and wanted a platform for filmmakers and creators to create content and distribute their content.

What is the Problem You’re Trying to Solve? Or USP?

We are trying to solve the problem of underrepresentation in the Entertainment, TV & Film space, we work hard to build communities that are supporting each other and us to continue the movement of shifting the present situation where there are more opportunities, recognition and praise for filmmakers and content creators.

Who is Your Ideal Customer? 

Our ideal customer is ambitious, talented, creative and eager to take their project to the next level.

Have you Been Impacted by Covid, if so how have you Pivoted Your Business?

Yes, like everyone we were heavily impacted by Covid and it was challenging to stay active with restrictions but we were innovative in using technology especially digitally to keep our business running.

What are Your Goals for 2022 and Beyond?

Our goal for 2022 to continue to expand our companies internationally and to continue to grow with content creation in TV & Film as well as distribution in locations that would appreciate the value of the filmmakers and creators behind it. Continue to showcase talent that are underrepresented.

What Advice do you Have for Other Aspiring Female Entrepreneurs? 

My advice to any aspiring female entrepreneur is not to give up on their dreams. No matter how hard, how challenging or adversities they are facing keep pushing forward.
