A new weekly craft program for toddlers and preschoolers and their parents, grandparents or guardians is set to bring the fun to every Wednesday morning during the school term at Greensborough Plaza.

The free morning activity program, called Little Explorers, will be available between 9.30am and 12.30pm every week, and will be located outside Toyworld on Level 2 at Greensborough Plaza’s new-look Kids Little Explorer space.

Starting on Wednesday, October 5, each week’s activity will have a different theme to help children explore their creativity in different ways.

All materials will be provided free of charge and no bookings are required, meaning children and their carers can take part whenever it suits them during the morning.

The initial Little Explorer Wednesdays schedule includes:

October 5 – Safari Craft and Face Painting: Each child can be painted as their favourite safari animal and also try their hand at safari themed craft activities.

October 12 – Springtime Ice Cream Craft: A treat of a different kind for children to get their hands sticky. Kids can create a paper ice cream just in time for summer.

October 19 – Library Bag Decorating: Each child will receive a free library bag to keep, that they can colour in.

October 26 – Spooky Ghost Craft: Children and carers alike can get in the mood for Halloween with an age-appropriate craft activity.

November 2 – Backpack Decorating: Each child will receive a free backpack to keep, that they can colour in.

November 9 – Christmas Ornament Craft: Each child will be able to create their own Christmas snow dome keepsake to kick off the festive season.
