Would you pay $5 for a spoonful of Nutella? Well, that’s exactly what a pop-up store in Melbourne is offering.

Personally, I think it’s a tempting offer considering how good Nutella is—but it’s also too much for too little.

The pop-up dessert bar, Spoonful of Sugar, opened its doors over the weekend and is offering the chocolate spread, titled “Naughty Nutella”, by the spoonful and causing many eyebrows to furrow in confusion over the price for the amount per serving.

No comments have been made by the store, which has virtually no internet presence and has also left people wondering if the situation is a prank being pulled on the city or if the owners are really trying to make into an actual business.

Either way, it seems like an extraordinary price to pay for such a small amount of something, especially considering you can get an entire jar or pack of twelve from Woolworths or Coles for about as much as the pop-up cafe is offering and therefore more spoonful’s of sugar.

Other spoon-filled flavours on offer by the cafe include: Peanut Butter & Jam (‘Playful PB & J’), salted caramel (‘Sinful Salted Caramello’), butterscotch (‘Bold Butterscotch’), and banoffee (‘Blissful Banoffee’).
