Everyone Has a Life Path Number – Here’s How to Find Yours

Numbers are present in almost every aspect of our lives. We constantly glance at the time on our devices, we watch money come and go from our bank accounts, and even now, I can see the number of words I’ve written at the bottom of this page. Thousands of years ago, civilisations decided that numbers aren’t only for practical purposes, but mystical. Thus, numerology was born.

Whether you believe in numerology or don’t, I’m here to show you how to calculate your Life Path Number, which some believe is a code to your life purpose and destiny. This is derived through your date of birth.

First, we start by writing down your birthday. This involves some simple addition, as every number will be combined to make a single digit. I’m going to use my favourite musician, Eddie Vedder, as an example.

Eddie’s birthday is the 23^rd of December 1964.

Day: 23 = 2+3 = 5

Month: December is the 12^th month = 1+2 = 3

Year: 1964 = 1+9+6+4 = 20 = 2+0 = 2

If there are any 11s or 22s in your calculation (days, months or final answers) don’t simplify them down, as these are special numbers.

Now, add your simplified numbers again.

Eddie’s birthday would be 5 + 3 + 2 = 10 = 1+0 = 1

As such, Eddie’s Life Path Number is 1.
