3 Hidden Islands to Have on Your Bucket List

If you’re looking for a holiday that is unique and magical, these hidden islands boast adventures that not many have yet to see.

Desroches Island, Seychelles.
If you’ve ever wanted an island to yourself, this is the place to be. A 40-minute flight out of Mahé, this island is as remote as they come. The only thing it hosts is the 5-star resort, there are no other shops or restaurants to be seen. The resort of course boasts a tropical garden, plunge pool and nine miles of picturesque white-sand beach.

Desert Islands, UAE. A different kind of island, this one is 150 miles east of Abu Dhabi. With dry river beds and mangroves to be explored, this area is full of new and extraordinary sights, there’s colourful reefs perfect for snorkelling, you may even be accompanied by the resident flamingos. However, this is one island best to avoid during the summer months as the temperatures soar in this desert oasis.

Scrub Island, BVI. Don’t let the name confuse you, this beautiful island boasts the bluest of water and unimaginable island sights. Only relatively new, this island was undiscovered until only a few years ago. The resort has three private beaches, an award-winning spa and everything to make it a true tropical island getaway amongst the Caribbean.
