As we all know, the housing market can go up and down at any moment: sometimes for the benefit of home buyers and other times for the benefit of home sellers and realtors.

Well, in a sale that would certainly benefit the seller and realtor, a Parramatta penthouse, in Sydney’s west, has sold for nearly $3.5 MILLION!

According to Domain, a three-bedroom, four-bathroom penthouse, which is one in a 314-apartment Phillip Street development, has been sold for $3, 325, 000 and is the soon-to-be home of a western Sydney businessman and his wife.

The current Hills District residents bought the penthouse as they are looking to downsize from their current home and have paid roughly $17, 500 per square-metre for their new 190-square-metre, 53rd floor penthouse and, judging by the photos, they are certainly getting their money’s worth!

The architects behind their lavish new penthouse, and the entire building for that matter, is Woods Bagot and they have designed each space to feature expansive interior living areas that flow into outdoor entertainment areas and also boast marble features, designer finishes, and Miele appliances inside.

These penthouses, however, will on the higher floors of the development as a five-star QT Hotel will reside on the lowest levels of the building, offering high-end services like two of Rockpool Dining Group’s signature restaurants, event rooms, and a grand ballroom.

There are also five penthouses left, so if you’re in the market for a new home, you’d better start saving now.
