Whether you have a basic or in-depth knowledge of who Charles Manson is, you should at least know he was the leader of the Manson Family and that some of his followers committed a series of murders in California in the late 60’s.

Well, it seems Quentin TarantinoReservoir Dogs and Kill Bill— is set to direct a movie based on those events, with rumours going round that Margot Robbie and Jennifer Lawrence are in the running to play Sharon Tate, one of Manson’s victims.

But while casting has not been confirmed, Tate’s sister Debra told TMZ who she would like to play her sister, saying,

“They’re both extremely accomplished actresses but I would have to say, my pick would be Margot. Simply because her physical beauty and the way she even carries herself is similar to that of Sharon”.

“I don’t think as much about Jennifer Lawrence”, she continued, “Not that I have anything against her. But she just, I don’t know, she’s not pretty enough to play Sharon. That’s a horrible thing to say, but I have my standards”.

But regardless of who is chosen for the role, Debra has also said she’d like to meet Tarantino to discuss the portrayal of her sister in the film, adding,

“I’m not necessarily opposed to this project, but I am very concerned in how he would portray my sister and I would like to sit down and have a chat with him,

“He needs to, in my opinion, portray her as she was and not sensationalize or go into a lot of these internet rumors”.
