The apocalyptic teen drama Society took Netflix by a storm, but unfortunately, the potential second season has been cancelled by Netflix. This leaves the group of high-schoolers trapped in their town indefinitely with adults and a crumbling democracy. Due to unexpected budget increases triggered by the pandemic, Society won’t be the only show left to cliff-hangers and unanswered questions.

The abrupt cancellation leaves creator Chris Keyser disappointed at the unfulfilled potential of Society’s second season.  The show was set up to have five potential seasons, but who knows if Netflix can’t take the heat maybe another streaming service will step up.

IN: OUTER BANKS

The popular Young Adults series is set to take on another season as Outer Bank’s official Instagram account promises its second season.  The entire cast of Outer Banks is ready to return to set, following John B as he and friends set to the Bahamas to search for the missing millions.

We navigate the crumbling morality of Trish and Jessica’s desperate bids to either save or kill her only surviving family, her mother.
