On Wednesday the 22nd of March 2017, One Direction superstar Liam Payne and partner singer Cheryl Cole welcomed their newborn son into the world.
The doting dad has yet to release the name of their youngster but shared a candid snap of the newborn on Instagram. Congratulations are in order as the ecstatic new mother Cheryl Cole, 33, also took to Instagram to share her joy with her three million followers, stating that the pair are “madly in love” with their new arrival who was born both happy and healthy.
Liam Payne, 23, also took the opportunity to praise Cole, the 1D singer gushed, “I'm completely in awe of his incredible mother and how she has been the whole way through this, she’s really made my dreams come true.”
Liam isn’t the first father in the former One Direction boy band as Louis Tomlinson’s son Freddie was born in early 2016.
As for other One Direction news, Harry Styles has recently released a short promotional video, which has left fans speculating a potential solo single or album release from the young singer. Nothing has been confirmed as of yet, but all is said to be revealed on April 7th.
