New York City Bucket List

New York

Nearly every person has the same dream to one day go to New York City, one of the greatest places in the world. But with so much to see and do and so little time, where do you start?

  1. Treat yourself

The best way to start of any good holiday is with some good food. Queens will give you just that, with Polish delis and bagel stands on every corner you’re bound to get something that satisfies your needs.

  1. The Art

If you’re not feeling cultured enough already try heading to one of New Yorks museums, there’s almost too many to choose from. The Met has a timeless collection of artwork from almost every time period, whereas the Whitney Museum has a more contemporary and modern display of artwork.

Lose yourself for hours admiring brush strokes and line work in some of the finest museums in the world, and if I’ve learnt anything from living in New York, it’s to pick wisely, theres a lot of museums and just not enough time.

  1. Walk everywhere and anywhere

If you find yourself there in the summertime take a walk on the high line. Walk above the two-mile long boardwalk and relax on a deck chair and watch the traffic from above the big apple itself.

Or take a trip to central park and walk amongst the squirrels for hours while you bask in the nature found in this concrete jungle.

  1. Broadway

It’s not a trip to New York without seeing a Broadway show. Go hang out in a junkyard full of cats or get lost in the jungle with lions. No matter what you see on Broadway you’ll never be disappointed.
