Emily is a spirited young girl who embarks on a journey of self-discovery amidst a time of change and challenge…the global pandemic of COVID-19.
Written by Melbourne-based Paediatric Psychologist Michelle Macpherson, this new children’s book is about change. It aims to help children move past self-created illusions that limit their ability to grow and change in positive ways.
“The book aims to entertain, empower, inspire and strengthen children, during a time of significant uncertainty,” says Michelle, who wrote the book for children aged 5-10 years.

The author is available to discuss her first fiction book and her plans to work more closely with school teachers and parents to create positive change.
