The moment you step into the quaint little café, you’ll be greeted with an almost-open kitchen space and a big shelf stacking some special homemade jams. While the size of the café itself is relatively small and cosy, the décor of nicely situated wooden tables and chairs create a spacious and wholesome atmosphere.

You won’t be able to miss the large open windows that oversee the vibrant green landscape too – perfect for those Instagram pictures. To the back of the café sits more shelves, decorated with various knick-knacks that add a pleasant vibe to the space. With different styled ceramics, tea sets, and quaint vases of flowers, it’s almost like walking into grandma’s house.

The menu itself is succinct. However with limited quantity comes great quality, as the dishes are all made with fresh produce and are delightfully satisfying. From the texture, colour, plating and price – Georgie Bass really do prove that they’re dedicated to preserving the taste of seasonal produce while sprucing it up wonderfully.

The wild mushroom and poached chicken dishes are amongst the stars of the menu. Drinks are on par with the food, with offerings varying from a freshly pressed juice to a fun Nutella milkshake that seemed to be popular with all the kids present in the café. If you’d rather something quick and light to eat, then the front of the counter hosts a range of different cakes and fruit smoothies to quench that fix.
