Forest Hill Chase’s Stunning Lunar New Year Wishing Tree and Wishing Station Bring Positive Vibes to Shoppers

A stunning Wishing Tree featuring red and gold leaves and LED lights and a Wishing Station featuring custom made tags for shoppers to write down their new year wishes will be showcased at Forest Hill Chase from 1-20 February 2022 and is sure to be a positive way to bring in the Lunar New Year. Shoppers can attach their personalised Lunar New Year wishes to the Wishing Tree and wander through a pathway of ambient Red Lanterns, watch a live Lion Dance, enjoy live cooking demonstrations and entertain kids at the Lunar New Year craft station. ‘It All Happens on 3’.

Vivid Red Lanterns

 

Wishing Tree

A stunning tree featuring red and gold leaves and warm lit LEDs settled upon a majestic red carpet will be a visual treat this Lunar New Year. The Wishing Tree will hold handwritten hopes and dreams for the future.

Wishing Station

The Wishing Tree is paired with a wishing station featuring custom made wishing tags and ribbons. After making your wish, shoppers are invited to hang their special wish and dreams for the future on the Wishing Tree.

 

Lion Dance

A theatrical live Lion Dance will weave around Forest Hill Chase bringing good luck for 2022.

 

Lunar New Year Cooking Demonstrations

Learn to make traditional Chinese Pork Dumplings with Dipping Sauce and Fortune Cookies.

Lunar New Year Craft Activities Station

Lantern Making and Dragon cards craft activities for kids.

Celebrate your special Lunar New Year lunch or dinner with family and friends at Northern Dumpling, The Groove Train, Manhattan Bar & Grill, The Chase Hotel, Birdies Mini Golf Bar and Fuku Sushi (opening early February 2022).

All Lunar New Year activities include a COVID-safe plan, and numbers are limited to the Victorian Government’s density limits. Activities are subject to change or cancellations based on current Victorian Government COVID health and safety recommendations.
