An Interview With the Inspirational Alexis Nicole White

Alexis Nicole White

CrowdInk had the chance to sit down (virtually) with Alexis Nicole White, an entrepreneur, author, and inspirational speaker, to speak a bit about how she started and fostered her brand and what entrepreneurs and millennials can do to brand themselves better (and lead a more fulfilling life).

CrowdInk: Tell us about your brand; how did you get started?

Alexis Nicole White: I serve as a voice for women who have been involved in emotionally abusive relationships, platonic and romantic. By raising awareness that not all abuse is physical, my ultimate goal is to educate women as to signs and symptoms of problematic relationships and to encourage them to live their best lives by nurturing healthy, positive connections.

After writing my memoir, The Covered, I realized that I allowed toxic, unhealthy associations to develop in pursuit of what society has defined as “happiness”. While grossly falling short of finding the ideal husband, creating the fantasy life and living happily ever after, I was inspired to have the conversation with other women to let them know they are not the problem.

CI: What makes your brand unique compared to other similar service providers?

ANW: What makes me unique is my ability to connect with today’s modern women without providing all of these pseudo “how to” steps. While I acknowledge that those are important for some, my primary focus is to encourage women to do what works best for them as each relationship is different.

CI: What’s your number one tip for aspiring entrepreneurs?

ANW: My number one tip for aspiring entrepreneurs is to always do your research first. A lot of people are being taken advantage of because they simply do not know better.

CI: What’s your favorite pastime?

ANW: My favorite pastime is watching movies. I love going to the movies.

CI: What’s your number one tip for Millennials looking to find the perfect partner?

ANW: I encourage Millennials to be transparent, be fearless and to be resilient with love (and life). Know what it is you want and don’t be afraid to go get it.
