Generally, campsites are significantly cheaper than hotels. Usually, campsites only have booking fees or costs to park your campervan. You can also save costs, if you are one to usually book flights, driving can often be cheaper than flying even if petrol is included. You may definitely save costs in the long run if you are driving to multiple destinations over a number of days as usually you may be booking more flights or modes of transport to reach these destinations.
