There’s nothing better than the feeling of doing something out of the ordinary when you’re feeling adventurous. You feel the adrenaline kick in, your excitement levels are off the charts and although you’re ever so slightly scared for your life, you wish that feeling never ended. Going on a desert safari can give you such experience.

Last year, I had the pleasure of going on my second desert safari near one of the most surreal cities in the world: Dubai. Your trip to the UAE isn’t complete without a day spent riding sand dunes on a land cruiser, while the sun goes down over the horizon. It’s just like being on a roller coaster, only you’re in the desert, there’s a steering wheel, a pro behind it, and the chances of you getting sick are just a little higher.

Just take motion sickness medication prior to the ride and you’ll be just fine. I say that from experience. Furthermore, you can drive quad bikes, ride camels, and eat local food while enjoying some traditional entertainment, including belly dancers and fire performers.

You won’t be the only one there, but you can be sure you will have a top notch Arabian experience; one for the books, really.
