8,500 people packed a sun-drenched Victoria University Whitten Oval to watch as the Western Bulldogs cruised to a 26-point win over a visiting Fremantle Dockers. The relatively young Dogs were not intimidated by the more mature Dockers, as they tried to physically impose themselves on the game. Three first half goals from skipper Katie Brennan, left the visitors playing catch up for the rest of the day.

The Fan Zone was the place to be with the Priceline Pharmacy Health & Beauty Lounge where you could try your luck at ten-pin bowling, charge your phone and simply relax. Younger match goers had plenty to keep them occupied with the Disney Princess Adventure Zone, where they could try their hand on the mechanical surfboard or have their face painted. There was even a sports agility course and football drill to keep the next generation of footballers on their toes. The Pancake Parlour Photobooth was on hand to capture all the fun.
