The Superbowl isn’t all about the superfans, the food, or even the half-time show. It’s about the ads. It’s about laughing with family and friends, and the one guy cackling in the corner at the commercial that’s really an acquired taste.

It’s Superbowl 50. Hopefully, you’re sitting in a living room with family or in a bar with friends or a combination thereof. You’re likely to be setting up the betting board, snacking on some ginormous cheeseballs and yelling at someone to close the cooler, the beer’s going to go warm. You’re probably catching up with someone you haven’t been able to say more than a quick “hey” to while avoiding that one person no one invited, but can’t really oust now that they’re there.

And before you settle into your recliner to start the main event, we thought we’d arm you for what’s about to come. We’re not talking about stats, predictions, or even the halftime show.

We’re talking commercials. The Superbowl is notorious for the funniest, most expensive, and weirdest ads of the year. And honestly, this year’s lineup is looking like the funniest yet.

Here’s a quick preview of this year’s roundup, from the side-splitting to the absolutely bizarre.
