As one of the biggest and most anticipated collections of the Cruise season, Gucci did no wrong in style, manner or show. With as much exuberant as possible, creative director Alessandro Michele held the Cruise 2018 show at the Palatina Gallery at Pittit Palace in Florence, drawing inspiration from the renaissance era in Florence and 70’s rock’n’roll.
While the pieces that came down the runway were impressive with motifs of flora, fauna and bold eclectic colours, one can’t ignore the smaller details of makeup and accessories. With everything from heavily ornamented bags to Gucci logo belts to knuckle rings and even nails dipped in black ink, Gucci always knows how to amplify their shows.
