St Kilda Dog Beach, Pier Road

At St Kilda, there are two off-leash dog beaches: Along Pier Road and between Brooks Jetty and the car park towards St Kilda Marina, near Luna Park. It’s the perfect place for you and your four legged to have a frolic along the beach.

Edinburgh Gardens, North Fitzroy

At approximately 24 hectares, the park is a great place for your pup to run wild. It’s also located in a part of Melbourne, with plenty of surrounding cafes and bars that will also welcome your dog.

The Palace Hotel, South Melbourne

Dogs are welcome to visit the Palace Hotel, just as long as they get along with the resident dog there, Billy the Staffy. The venue was also Time Out’s 2016 Pub of the Year. Bonus!

Wolf and Hound Café, Flemington

Located in Fleminton, Wolf and Hound have a secure tie up section at the front of the café with a metal bowl, some cosy blankets and dog treats. So you can enjoy a coffee while your dog relaxes.

If you’re unlucky and don’t have a pet of your own, you can visit Melbourne’s Cat Café. The café allows you to have a coffee whilst relaxing and playing with the cafes friendly resident cats.
