American Horror Story fans have waited eight seasons for the return of the saucy family it all began with. The newest season, Apocalypse will be released on the 12th of September and sees the first official crossover of season one- Murder House, and three- Coven.
Producer and creator, Ryan Murphy has had his trigger finger on the Instagram button for the past few months, teasing images of the original Coven crew before posting last week, the parents that started it all- Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott as Vivien and Ben Harmon.
This season is set to incorporate mostly AHS regulars, which is left of centre from the past seven stories, only adding a few new faces. The new faces are hardly no-names though, with a role call including Joan Collins and star of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, Cody Fern.
Everyone’s favourite, evil grandma next door, Jessica Lange will be back in action after calling it quits after season four. Taissa Farmiga and Sarah Paulson are expected to take out best on ground though, with both playing multiple characters in the one season. Everyone is waiting to see what the future of Horror Story will be following this season and whether the end really is in sight. The only certainty is you will need a spare pair of knickers folks.
