Kendall Jenner Breaks Down Over Scandalous Pepsi Ad

If you’ve not been living under a rock, chances are you’ll remember the infamous Pepsi advertisement that aired in April featuring Kendall Jenner.

The ad was posted less than a year after the controversial shootings of black men like Philando Castle and Alton Sterling by the U.S police. Jenner received instant backlash – many accused her of supporting Pepsi’s trivialization of and capitalization on serious social issues for profit.

In this week’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Jenner tearfully discusses the fiasco: “I genuinely feel like s***, and I have no idea how I’m gonna bounce back from it.”

She confessed that she’d been so excited to follow the likes of Michael Jackson, Britney Spears and Beyonce by starring in a Pepsi commercial that she just rolled with it.

Well, join the ranks she did, but boy did she pay the price.
