The Western Bulldogs have had a stellar season, and they are hoping to continue that on Saturday. This match will determine if the ladies go on to the 2018 AFLW Grand Final, and with the stakes so high, they’re ready for battle.
Saturday’s clash against Melbourne will be held at VU’s Whitten Oval, with the kick off at 7:10PM.
The Bulldogs are in peak condition for a win, with the return of Captain, Katie Brennan who has been sidelined for the last three rounds with an ankle injury. No doubt the team will be glad to have their captain on the field for such an integral match of the season.
It’s not only the players that have been in fine form this year, but the fans have been an incredible support for the team at matches. The spectacular turn-out on game days means there will be even more food and activities added to this Saturday’s festivities. Gates will open from 5:30PM to ensure everyone is well into the spirit of the game ready for the first bounce.
As well as the impressive display of food trucks, the Cape Grim BBQ will once again provide quality Australian grub. Two Birds Brewery will ensure we have full glasses to cheers to, and Bob Jane T-Marts will be providing tunes. Victoria University are giving free massages… need I say more?
