Burberry Opens Flagship store in Melbourne CBD

Further proving we want our whole lives to be embossed in Burberry print.

The new Burberry Collins Street store is set across two floors and reflects the brand’s global design concept. It looks and feels like a miniature version of their iconic Regent St store. The ground floor showcases the brands’ bags, accessories, beauty and footwear, making it the only store in Victoria to have footwear available for on the day purchase.

While a trip up the central spiral staircase takes you to men’s and women’s wear. Notably there isn’t any of the brand’s coveted children’s wear on display but hopefully that will change in the future.

The store is littered with friendly, knowledgeable staff who make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.

To celebrate the opening of its Melbourne Collins Street store, Burberry hosted an exclusive event with nearly 300 guests getting a glimpse of the London fashion house’s September 2017 collection, alongside the brand’s new collection for November and December.

Guests at the event entered a transformed store featuring illustrations across its windows and interior in celebration of the newly launched Burberry Doodle collection. Comprising reversible leather-trimmed coated-canvas tote bags, silk-cotton scarves and small leather accessories animated with doodle artwork, the collection is one of the first available at the new store.

The Collins Street digs is now Burberry’s seventh store in Australia, with 343 George Street & Sydney International Airport in NSW, Queens Plaza Brisbane in Queensland and Chadstone, Crown Entertainment Complex, Melbourne International Airport and now Collins Street heading up Victoria.

It will also feature a collect-in-store service allowing customers to shop online on Burberry’s website and collect the order in store as early as the following day.
