To poach this perfect egg you will need –

. One egg
. Olive Oil
. A pot filled with enough boiling water to cover the egg
. One coffee mug
. Sheet of cling wrap

How to – This is so simple, really: all you have to is lay the cling wrap over the top of the coffee mug and pour a little dab of oil onto it. Rub the oil around the surface of the cling wrap and then crack the egg onto the wrap.

Then, all you have to do is pull the outside edges of the cling wrap over and tighten the wrap, so that the egg is cradled and covered inside of it.

Drop the egg in its wrap into the boiling water, reduce to a simmer, and cook for about three to four minutes, the white should be firm with the yolk nice and gooey.

There you have it, simple! The perfect poached egg will be yours every time and you will never bother with that frustrating vinegar technique again.
