See You Again

The music industry is constantly putting out new songs and albums all the time. Just the other day Psy’s Gangnam Style lost its place as the most viewed video on YouTube to Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s See You Again.

Days before the five year anniversary of Psy’s release of his video clip for Gangnam Style, See You Again video clip surpassed it by 100,000 views, reaching 2.9 billion by Thursday.

The song “See You Again” was written for the movie “Furious 7”. The music video honoured Fast and the Furious leading actor, Paul Walker, who passed away in a car crash near the end of 2013.

The song and the video clip were put out in 2015 when the movie came out, as it’s leading single on the soundtrack.

Charlie Puth took to twitter to show his gratitude, stating that he joined YouTube “hoping to make a video that would get 10,00 views”

With already so many number one hits on YouTube this year, will “See You Again” keep its number one place for long?
