The 2017 Top 50 People in e-Commerce was released recently and we want to congratulate all the winners. We are also delighted to announce that 13 of those winners* who are also retailers will be speaking at the upcoming Seamless Expo.

Australia’s national retail conference, Seamless Expo will be hosting a number of winning retail professionals and business owners. Between May 10th and 11th, these professionals have been invited to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre to give insight into their knowledge and understanding of the business world, providing growing companies with assistance on how they can improve.

The expo will be broken down into three categories: Payments, E-Commerce and Retail.

Retail is a universal industry. Consumerism and customer service is evident on a global scale. This requires attention, knowledge and understanding, and that’s exactly what Seamless Expo will focus on.

In the past 5 years, retail has had significant changes. Third party delivery platforms have been introduced, marketing through influencers and celebrities has become a huge contributor to profits, and new payment options are available. Whether it be in fashion, food, homewares or beauty, all areas of retail are affected by these new additions.

Seamless Expo will to address these changes, discussing the issues retail owners and workers are facing today, and how they’ve implemented new solutions to improve their marketing and sales.

Retail is heavily influenced by the digital world. Influencer marketing, branding through social media and implementing other new digital technologies all majorly contribute to the success of a company, no matter how big or small.

Making the customer experience as seamless and as positive as possible is a necessary part of building a company. There’s nothing worse than losing a customer because of slow service, mixing up orders or not adequately responding to complaints. As retail relies on customers, it’s essential this is maintained. A strong social media presence and a strong understanding of customer demand will help keep your business on top of the others.

If you feel like your retail business is falling behind in these areas, then have a look at the rundown for Melbourne’s Seamless Expo. See how retailers just like you pushed through these problems and excelled in their industries.

Some of the speakers invited to talk on Retail include: Director of Lush Cosmetics, Peta Granger, CEO and founder of Mon Purse, Lana Hopkins, and Co-Founder and CEO of Foodora, Toon Gyssels.
